Windsor, UK. 8th December, 2022. A goose on a wall next to the River Thames. There were very noticeably few swans on the River Thames today. Tragically, following a nationwide outbreak of avian flu at least 66 swans from the Windsor flock have died. Signs remain along the riverpath asking people not to feed the swans. Local swan charity, Swan Support are doing controlled feeding of the swans in an attempt to stop the spread of brid flu. Credit: Maureen McLean/Alamy Live News
