The practice work is supplemented with a course of lec-tures, study of text books and Mississippi A. and M. College 47 WEAVING A. ABBOTT, Instructor. It is the aim of this department to give the student a thor-ough practical and theoretical knowledge of weaving and weavingmachinery. Practical work in this department consists in weavingplain and pattern goods; dobby, drop box, leno and Jacquard weav-ing. The student will be taught the setting up, adjustment andfixing of the loom. Practical work will be supplemented by athorough course of lectures and recitations on the subject of weav-ing and the construction of the loom.
