K5 type bunker of general Ulrich Liss, head of Fremde Heere West FHW (Foreign Armies West) in Zone 1 Quelle (quartermaster and logistics operations center) of OKH Mauerland, Oberkommando des Heeres OKH (German Army High Command) Headquarters in Mamerki, Poland. July 4th 2008, with the nearby Führerhauptquartier (Führer Headquarters), Adolf Hitler`s military headquarters, was the commanding centre of the Eastern Front. Some 250 structures, with 30 steel-reinforced concrete bunkers, were built 1940 to 1944 by Organisation Todt and Siemens-Bauunion GmbH. 20 July plot was planned here.
