Cintron, who has operated in Afghanistan, describes this experience as relationship building. The 1-501 supports 1st Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, which operates under Operation Atlantic Resolve, which demonstrates the commitment to NATO by rotating -based units through the European theater during multiple exercises with NATO Allies.
