We then both en-tered the sophomore class of Brown University,and soon contracted a friendship, which, on mypart certainly, continued during his life. During the lasttwo years of our college life we were chums, occupying roomNo. 30 in University Hall. We were both of mature, and Ibelieve about the same, age.
