Everglades National Park, Florida - An historic Nike Hercules anti-aircraft missile site, 160 miles from the coast of Cuba. The base was operational during the Cold War from 1964 to 1979. Some of the missles based there were equiped with nuclear weapons. Park volunteer interpreter Jim Allen leads a tour of the site.
