Up to two thousand activists demonstrated in London against the imminent cull of badgers in a move to eradicate bovine tuberculosis. Rock star Brian May, guitarist with Queen and television personality and environmentalist Bill Oddie attended, deliveing a petition of over 230,000 signatures to the DEFRA headquarters.
