Salar de Atacama, Chile - 27 May 2018; Tebinquinche Lagoon is part of Salar de Atacama, the largest salt flats in Chile. In fact, it covers over 3,000 square kilometers, making it one of the largest in the world. It is surrounded both by the Atacama Desert, the driest place of earth. and a number of spectacular volcanoes, including the massive Licancabur. Here we see the Lagoon with a majestic moonrise.
