PHILIPPINE SEA (March 30, 2016) - Ships assigned to the John C. Stennis Strike Group (JCSSG) and the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force ships JS Ise (DDH 182) and JS Akebono (DD 108) steam in formation during a group sail. Providing a ready force supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific, JCSSG is operating as part of the Great Green Fleet on a regularly scheduled 7th Fleet deployment.
