Electric pylons, carrying high voltage lines through the barren Kalahari desert of Namibia, with two social weaver nests already in the steel framework of the pylon. The Kalahari Desert is a semi-arid savanna which is known for its red and are located in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. The name Kalahari is derived from the Tswana word Kgala, which means “the great thirst”.
