Thoracic spine CT of a 69 year old woman with osteoporosis. There are compression deformities of the thoracic vertebrae T5-T10. The most severe is at the T7 level where there is approximately 80% height loss anteriorly and centrally. Compression deformities of the T5 , T6, T8, and T9 levels are approximately 50% and compression deformity at the T10 level is approximately 20 to 30%. Diffuse osteopenia is noted. Scoliosis is present.
