TwoWassermann tests were negative. Roentgen Examination: A large radiolucent area was found beneaththe socket of the extracted right lower molar (see Figure 176). Fromthis place to the bicuspids of the other side, the entire body of the mandibleshowed radiolucent areas and channels, indicating an osteomyeliticcondition (see Figures 176 and 177).
