Members of the 514th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron participated in an annual egress training on the KC-135 Stratotanker and the C-130 Hercules June 1. The training, which familiarizes Airmen of emergency procedures and various exit points, is mandatory for squadron members before flying on the aircraft. The squadron usually flies on KC-10 Extenders with the 514th Air Mobility Wing, but training like this enables them to safely transport patients on a variety of aircraft and in various situations when called upon.
