A sample was put through the stiff-mud machine, and flowed easilythrough the brick die without cracking. There are scattered pebbles in theclay, which would have to be eliminated by means of a rolls. The productfrom this machine gave a fair brick at Cone 010. This clay could be usedfor common brick, and might even work for hollow brick. HALIFAX COUNT
