He is a trusteeof the College of Puget Sound, the Kimball School ofTheology, the Northwest Deaconess Training School, andthe Wesley Foundation. He has been assigned to the area. HUNDREDTH ANNIVERSARY CENTER CHURCH,DAVIE CIRCUIT The Center church on Davie circuit is this year cele-brating its one hundredth anniversary. This church wasorganized in the year 1832; it had run a Sunday school. Center Church, Davie CircuitRev. J. O. Banks, Pastor for about one year prior to being organized as a first pastor to serve Center as a church was CharlesP. Moorman, although it was actually started by D. Tompkins about 1830 and run as a Sundayschool in a home that was owned by Calvin Walker. Thefirst presiding elder was Moses Brock, a native of Daviecounty. The deed to this property is 99 years old, havingbeen made to the trustees in 1833 by John Smith, costing$ We observed home coming day at Center church onMay 29. An all day program was given celebrating onehundred years of service this church has rendered to alarge portion of Davie county. We began revival ser-vices on May 18, and closed out with home coming dayon the fifth Sunday. Our aim this hundredth year is topay one hundred per cent on all our finances and win onehundred new members for the church and Sunday looks hopeful, as our Sunday sch
