Bor-der consists of deep lines of shades of blue, with white, en-closing a formal scepter-bead pattern in yellow, with white,on brown ground. Field is entirely fillet! with foliated octa-gons in light and deep blue; flower petals and bat-emblems,in browns and white, are in center of octagons. Length, 7 feet 10 inrhen: width, 5 feet 0 inrhft. 585— Antique Chinese Hrc; (Cliiat Luny) Soft thick pile. Golden red-brown field with large centralfloral feature of flowers and fret-pattern; floral medallions,together with symbolical plants, fill rest of ground. Cor-ners are cut off with elaborate swastika-fret lines. Deeplined-borders of blue, and with white dots, surround the rug,and contain a band of lotus and chih-ltiny motif decoration in shades of soft reds, yellow, green, with deep and light blue. Length. Soft salmon field; oval medallion in cen-ter, two circular reserves at eacli side, with flowers and fun-gus patterns and butterflies in corners. Lined border withUng-ehih motif band.
