Marines with 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines, 2nd Marine Division, visit exhibits during a tour at T. Stell Newman Visitor Center, National Historical Park, Santa Rita, Guam, on Jan. 23, 2023. Marines with 1st Bn, 2nd Mar Div, visited World War II sites to increase their knowledge about Operation Forager and the Marines’ fight on Guam to liberate the CHamoru population on July 21, 1944. 1st Bn, 2d MARDIV, is participating in the Naval Support Activity, Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz Reactivation and Naming Ceremony on Jan. 26, 2023.
