Thesebirds both old and young are good food. Bonapartes Gull ranges throughout North America, breedingin Manitoba and northward, and migrating by inland and coastroutes to and from its winter resorts in the southern portions of theUnited States. Small numbers of these Gulls are seen on the New Englandcoast during the summer, but no evidence has been produced oftheir having nested in this vicinity.
