Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, UK today is a vibrant small market town which has the river Great Ouse winding it’s way through the town centre. Buckingham is characterised by a fine array of Georgian buildings and the Old Gaol which sits dominantly in the centre of the town. One of it’s best features are it’s large green spaces (one of which is called the Heartlands) near the town centre and also many of roads are tree lined making it a very green town. Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, is located in the rural North of Buckinghamshire and can really be described as being the Green Heart of England.
