Alpine Garden Society garden Pershore Worcestershire. Founded 1929 the charity was formed to help promote the interest of alpine plants and there conservation. Alpine plants are generally native to rocky soils and sunny locations and are drought tolerant. The plants can be displayed in stone troughs as well as cracks in walls and paving.
