Whale Shark (Rhincodon typus) Vertical full body view of a 10-meter whale shark (Rhincodon typus) filter feeding plankton at night. In this occasion, we were not being lucky and did not attract any of these giants to our but then we got a message from a fairly large fishing vessel nearby, who had two whale sharks filtering plankton in their lights. It was late again, nearly midnight, but despite that we took the small dinghy and went to pay the fishermen a visit.
