Barmote Court, Moot Hall, Wirksworth, Derbyshire. Brass measuring dish which was presented to the Court by Henry VIII in 1512.

The Barmote Court dates back over 700 years and was established to ensure the collection of the payment of royalties from lead mines owned by the Duchy of Lancaster and to settle disputes and claims arising from lead mining in the High Peak and Low Peak. Today the Barmote Court has one sitting in April each year at Moot Hall in Wirksworth, Derbyshire.
