Fossilized White Shark tooth


Fossilized White Shark tooth from the Hawthorne Formation of South Carolina. The fossil was found in either Charleston, Colleton or Beaufort County, South Carolina. The fossil is from the Miocene/Pliocene Age, between 5 and 15 million years ago. Either Carcharodon carcharius (Great White Shark) or Carcharocles megalodon (Giant White Shark).
