The famous mural paintings of the lower level food court of the Galerias Pacifico shopping mall. Buenos Aires.

Galerias Pacifico, 737 Calle Florida between Avenida Cordoba and Viamonte, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Architects: Francisco Seeber and Emilio Bunge. Even more impressive than the top brand stores inside are the vaulted ceilings painted in 1945 by five great muralists: Antonio Bernini, Juan Carlos Castangino, Manuel Colmiero, Lino Spilimbergo, and Demetrio Urruchúa. The painting covers most of the 450m2 central dome. Their works comprise diverse themes, achieving an unmatched cohesion of shapes and colors. The murals were restored in 1978, under Antonio Berni's direction and again in 1991 by an Argentine-Mexican group.
