Of this species , only a single specimen, of U wa> found {Acadia, .station 47). /,. has a very wide distribution on both sides .jf the Atlantic; according to Jordan and lOvermanii. it ranges from Xova Scotia as far as the Barbadoes; onlv in deep water, however, is it found so far south. 5 FAM.
