The ornamental work, which is pure and rich in character, is Italian, and over the side gates and the central arch is the Prince of Wales's feather braided in a wreath of laurels. A feature of peculiar interest in this court is the manifestation which we have that every article is produced by casting, and not by beating the metal into form'.
