In this image, a nerve (horizontal central pink curved band) is surrounded by tumour cells (dark blue-purple). A few fat cells (empty white spaces can also be seen around the nerve and tumour. Haematoxylin and eosin stained tissue section. Magnification: 100x when printed at 10 centimetres.
