Selingue, Mali, 26th April 2015; Diola Coulibaly, 79, retired army man, working on his plot of hectares. The land was a garden plot but he has changed it to grow rice. He also has one hectare of rice in another part of Selingue. His son, Moussa Coulibaly, 19, and his wife Mamou Coulibaly, 18, are working with him. Diola has an army pension and his sons do most of the work. The family share all the produce of the farming between them. Moussa works full-time on the land. Diola has two wives and 8 children.
