Staff Sgt. John Quijano, from the Hawaii Air National Guard’s 154th Logistics Squadron, prepares to deliver a meal to a disabled resident Dec. 17, 2018, as part of a meal-on-wheels program Kalihi, Hawaii. Quijano once struggled with financial difficulties while living in the same neighborhood. Now, with a more stable career path in the ANG, he is regularly volunteering and delivering meals to less-fortunate members in his community.
