Matt Sharp, a 21 year old elite triathlete based at British Triathlon’s Performance Centre in Loughborough. GE, one of the worldwide sponsors of the London 2012 Olympic Games, will become Elite Partner of British Triathlon and Paratriathlon Elite teams, providing support and expertise for Matt and the 50 strong team in the run up to the 2012 Olympic Games. GE will also be associated British Triathlon Elite events, age group teams, home nation regional academies, and the coaching programme. The partnership could help Matt and his team mates fulfill their Olympic medal-winning potential in London 2012 and become part of one of the UK’s next great sporting success stories.
