A Dutch windmill in the Keukenhof gardens at Lisse in the south of Holland. Visitors can climb to the outside platform for a great view of the tulip fields showing long rows of mixed coloured tulips ready for harvesting by farming machinery. The name, ‘Keukenhof’ meaning Kitchen garden created in 1949 is a 32 hectares (79 acres) garden, one of the world’s largest gardens and is known as the ‘Garden of Europe’.
