Himba people. Mother with her children in a Himba homestead. The Himba are a nomadic tribe who live in north-eastern Namibia. Their homes (bomas) are constructed from leaves, mud and cattle dung. During the course of a year, a Himba family will move from one home to another in search of grazing for their animals. Himba people wear few clothes, but rub a mixture of red ochre and fat into their skin to protect themselves from the Sun. Photographed in Kaokoland, Namibia.
