THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK. The First National Bank of Beaver Springs be-gan business May 6,1901,being established by nineof the mo3t prominent business men. They wereJas. M. A. Ulsh. Dr. Smith, , Tilman Weader, P. S. Bobb, Wm. , C. O. Qreenhoe and K. C. Walter. Thecapital of the bank is $25,000, its surplus and un-divided profits, all earned, aggregate $24,250 andits deposits $155,Q68. The earning strength ofthis bank, its surplus and undivided profits,$24,250, has not been equaled by any other bankof its size in the state of Pennsylvania during thesame time it has now been in business. TheFirst National Bank of Beaver Springs is a re-markably well managed institution. On muchof the literature issued by the bank is to be foundthe legend, The bank that takes care of its cus-tomers.
