Herman Stern, being young and vigorous, threw his whole heart into the enterprisewith his customary enthusiasm, and has lived to see his dream come true, and thefriendships that have resulted from his generosity are of the most lasting kind. Manyof the original purchasers are still living on their properties, and accord to Mr. Sternthe credit for their success. He has been one of the most public-spirited men of thislocality, and has spent his money with a liberal hand to make Anaheim and OrangeCounty a better place in which to live.
