MAYPORT, Fla. (Dec. 30, 2016) Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Samuel Chandler assigned to the Areligh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80), hugs his son Camden after returning from a 7-month deployment. The ship was deployed as part of the Eisenhower Strike Group and conducted naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
