Aesop's Eagle and Scarab Beetle

Aesop was a sixth-century legendary composer of Greek fables whose characters were animals. Each fable had a moral. It was said that Aesop was a slave and had been freed by his master. Milo Winter (died 1956) was an American book illustrator. Among his works are illustrations of Aesop's fables. The one here is: The Eagle and the Scarab Beetle, with the moral: Even the weakest may find means to avenge a wrong.
