Both women and men are employed as packers, womenbeing most largely used. The empty box is placed on apacking stand which rests on rollers and has a revolvingtop. The hod holding tissue wrapping paper is placedover one end of the box. The packers stand beside thesizing bins, and wrapping each fruit in printed absorbenttissue paper, place it in the box with great dexterity andskill, averaging about sixty boxes a day.
