Lieutenant Cunningham riding Belle Beach, an English mare, in the Paris Peace Parade on July 14, 1919. He carried General Pershing's Colors and paraded before the King and Queen of Belgium and Sir Douglas Haig. Belle Beach returned to the United States in September 1919 with Stables. In 1920, Lieutenant Cunningham rode her in Military Classes at the National Capital Horse Show, finishing second and third in different races. This photo was taken in 1920 by the Signal Corps.
