Combat Logistics Regiment 45 and 2nd Transportation Support Battalion drew approximately 500 principal end items from caves in Norway to conduct Strategic Mobility Exercise 17. The exercise was part of the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program-Norway. The caves in Norway are some of several locations around the world where Marine Corps equipment is staged for immediate response. The program enhances the operational responsiveness of all geographic combatant commanders by providing mission-tailored, prepositioned support to our global expeditionary operations.
