The cross railis raised and lowered by power. Thecone has five sections for 2^ in. belt,the largest being 18 ins. in diameter. Abrake shifter are both providedas shown. The countershaft has twopulleys 14 ins. in diameter, for 454 BORING AND TURNING MILL. terminal and station near the exhibi-tion, is clearly shown. This latterstation is illustrated by a large halftone insert, and a plan with minute de-scription on the last page. The foldercontains a good general line map ofthe United States and border portionsof Canada and Mexico. On this map theline of the Wabash Railroad is tracedin a bright, red line. The folder willbe most useful to those desiring infor-mation concerning what is officiallyknown as the Louisiana Purchase Ex-position, at St. Louis, Mo. belt, and should run 400 revolutions perminute, forward. 37 Inch Boring and Turning Mill. The annexed engraving shows the 37inch boring and turning mill made by TheBuUard Machine Tool Company, Bridge-port, Conn. The capacity is 42 ins. indiameter and 32^^ ins. in height. The
