Glenelg, Glenmore river, bright gorse. Kirkton Bay. Glenelg village, Morvich. Western Highlands, Scotland, UK
Glenelg is a small remote and scattered village community at the other side of the Ratagan pass from Shiel Bridge. Bright yellow gorse roadside. Historic Bernera Barracks to rear left. The Mam Ratagan Pass (or Bealach Ratagain) is a high mountain pass between Shiel Bridge on the A87 (main road to Skye) historic Glenelg. The Ratagan pass is a popular scenic route for tourists because there is a small car ferry (the Kylerhea Ferry) near Glenelg taking cars to the botton of Skye. An alternative route to the Skye bridge. Western Highlands, Scotland, UK
