Richardson, Southern Command commander, shakes hands with Sub Lieutenant Sasha Marshall of the Barbados Defense Force following a roundtable discussion focused on the Women, Peace and Security initiative, non-commissioned officer leadership development, and opportunities through the State Department’s International Military Education and Training (IMET) program. The forum was held in advance of the 2022 Caribbean Nations Security Conference, co-hosted by the Barbados Defense Force and SOUTHCOM.
