MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII (July 12, 2016)--A Navy Landing Craft Air Cushion assigned to Assault Craft Unit 5 lands during a loading exercise at Landing Zone Westfield aboard Marine Corps Air Station, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, July 12th, 2016. The LCACs assigned to Assault Craft Unit 5, Detachment Foxtrot, are transporting Marine Corps equipment to USS San Diego so that it may be shipped off to Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii, in support of Rim of the Pacific Exercise. The world's largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships between participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world's oceans.
