Lazio Roma Ariccia S. Maria dell'Assunzione, this is my Italy, the italian country of visual history, Post-medieval Architecture, painting, architectural sculpture, stuccoed ceiling, wooden tabernacle, sculpture. This round church was designed by Bernini 1664, with a pronaos of 3 arcades, and surmounted by a large cupola with a supporting drum. Inside, the large dome is decorated by coffers, and putti and angels of stucco, by Naldini, ornament the base of the dome. In the apse is a fresco of the Assumption by Borgognone 1666.
