On the day when the UK Government released its official unemployment figures showing the lowest jobless total for 10 years, Matthew Murray, from Glasgow, spends his 10th year homeless and unemployed, begging on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. Mr Murray, who is a qualified horticultural engineer, 10 years ago broke his back in an accident and subsequently lost his job. He now lives in homeless hostels in Glasgow city centre.
