Jeffrey Reynolds, naval aviator and commanding officer of Navy Recruiting District San Antonio, during a luncheon meeting held at the Seekatz Opera House during Navy Week San Antonio. Reynolds, a native of Raleigh, , delivered a briefing themed, “The Navy the Nation Needs” to more than 150 Rotarians and their guests. Every year, America's Navy comes home to approximately 15 cities across the country to show Americans why having a strong Navy is critical to the American way of life. Sailors and civilians

Sailors and civilians from the USS Constitution; Navy Band Southeast; USS San Antonio (LPD-17); Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group Two; Navy Ceremonial Guard; Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command; and Naval History and Heritage Command are in San Antonio and surrounding areas for a series of engagements designed to bring America's Navy closer to the people its protects.
