Not for use in Television Not for use in Television Allergic contact dermatitis on a breast. Close-up of the breast of a woman who developed allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) due to an allergic reaction following exposure to a purse. The pigmentation seen here is a post-inflammatory response that is secondary to the initial condition. ACD arises from an induced sensitivity (allergy), as opposed to the direct damage of contact dermatitis. Nickel, the leading cause of ACD, is found in jewellery and clothing fastenings. Photographed in India.
