Clachan Bridge, Argyll, Scotland

The Clachan Bridge is a single-arched masonry bridge spanning the Clachan Sound, 13 kilometres ( mi) southwest of Oban in Argyll, Scotland. It links the west coast of the Scottish mainland to the island of Seil. Because the Clachan Sound is open at both ends to the Atlantic Ocean, the bridge has become known as the "Bridge Over the Atlantic". Built between 1792 and 1793, it is still in use today.
