ART THERAPY
Reportage on art therapy in Ham hospital’s long-stay unit, France. Art therapy sessions are carried out in the Adapted Care and Activity Hub (Pôle d’Activités et de Soins Adaptés - PASA). This hub cares for patients with behavioural disorders and provides them with an individual or group therapy activity in order to maintain or rehabilitate their motor, cognitive and sensory functions as well as social ties. The art therapist attaches great importance to self-esteem. She considers that touch, contact and considerate gestures are vital for the success of the workshops.
