To operate the machine, the vise ispushed back and the pipe located in themouth of the dies; then, by pressing thefeed lever and turning the crank, the pipe isfed into the dies. When the pipe is flushwith the dies the small lever shown on underside of die head in the engraving is pressedtowards the die, which releases the lockingdevice, and by pressing the knob on the op-.
